Bali Adventure Climbing is run by Kris, a Balinese climber with more than a decade of indoor and outdoor experience. Its signature trip drives up to Kintamani and descends into the caldera of Mt Batur to climb along roughly 200 metres of cliffs with the volcano as a backdrop, finishing with a soak at a local hot-spring resort.
Trips include transport, professional shoes, harnesses and ropes, guides and belayers, and meals. The day trip is listed from IDR 1,500,000, and there are two-day climbing-and-camping options, a version with a Batur summit trek, and a combination with canyoning. Routes span roughly 4a to 8a, so first-timers and experienced climbers can both be catered for.
The operator is linked with the Klimb bouldering gyms in Canggu and Uluwatu and can also point visitors to other crags around the island.
