Climb Go Where

Singapore

Singapore has 18 climbing gyms listed on Climb Go Where, split evenly between bouldering gyms and gyms with rope or auto-belay walls. Bouldering is spread across the island, from boulder+ at The Chevrons in Jurong East and Aperia in Kallang to Lighthouse Climbing in Pasir Panjang, Z-Vertigo in Bukit Timah, Ark Bloc in Punggol and Boulder Planet in Tai Seng. The CBD has Climba and Boulder Movement Downtown in Tanjong Pagar, both with cheaper off-peak passes.

For rope climbing, Climb Central The Kallang, Ground Up Climbing in Farrer Park, BFF Climb at Our Tampines Hub and UpWall Climbing in Pasir Ris offer top rope and lead, while fit · bloc (Kent Ridge and Telok Ayer) and Outpost Climbing in Lavender pair bouldering with auto-belay walls. Single entry ranges from S$18 at Z-Vertigo and S$20 at OYEYO Boulder Home to S$32 at boulder+ and S$35 at peak times at Boulder Movement Downtown. Most gyms run intro classes and many have kids' sessions, and ClimbUp i12 Katong focuses on lessons for children.

Shoe hire is available at most gyms, but check whether it is included in the entry price. Rope gyms usually require a belay test or induction before you climb with a partner, so book an intro session first if you have not belayed before. Weekday daytime visits are quieter and, at several gyms, cheaper.
