Clip 'n Climb Bali, on the Ngurah Rai bypass in Sanur, is the only official Clip 'n Climb in Indonesia. Its Climb Zone has 25 walls up to 9 metres with around 90 routes on auto belays, plus challenges such as a free-fall and vertical drop slide, and a ValoClimb augmented-reality bouldering wall.
For more serious climbers there is a 9-metre wall on a TruBlue auto belay with six lines and about 18 routes, and the venue opens early mornings as a climbing gym for training. A standard 90-minute Climb Zone pass including a safety briefing costs IDR 220,000 on weekdays (IDR 250,000 weekends), with lower rates for KTP/KITAS holders and members; climbing courses and an after-school programme are offered.
Kids can climb from age 4, and the on-site 8A restaurant overlooks the climbing zone, making it a family and party venue as much as a gym. Booking online is recommended at weekends and in high season.
Weekend afternoons are busiest. First visit? Allow time for the safety briefing.
