Batuu Climbing opened in February 2025 on the ground floor of 3 Damansara mall in Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya. It was founded by a former BUMP co-founder and an IFSC-endorsed Malaysian routesetter, and the build involved cutting through two floors of the building to fit its rope walls.
Alongside roped climbing there is bouldering, including a 4.5m competition wall set to international specifications, with down-climb holds for safer descents. The gym also has a training area, a kids' zone (Batuu Kids), a merchandise area and its in-house Pinch Cafe.
A day pass costs RM45 and rental shoes RM10; a starter pack bundles three passes with shoes and harness. It suits boulderers and rope climbers of all levels.
Weekend afternoons are busiest. First visit? Allow time for the safety briefing.
