Camp5 Eco City on the 4th floor of KL Eco City Mall in Bangsar is billed by Camp5 as South East Asia's largest bouldering facility. The 3,000 sqm space has almost 1,000 sqm of bouldering, 33 top-rope lines, auto-belays and two lead lanes.
Training options include a hydraulic wall, a Tension board, a Moon board and a fitness studio, and there is a dedicated kids' area. A barista café serves coffee and healthy meals. Shoes, harnesses, helmets, belay sets and ropes can be rented.
First-timers can join an introductory course or climb as a guest of an experienced climber, while regulars can use 10-entry passes and multi-gym memberships valid across Camp5 outlets. It suits all levels, from families to strong boulderers.
Weekend afternoons are busiest. First visit? Allow time for the safety briefing.
