MIR Adventures

MIR Adventures is a Kuala Lumpur outdoor climbing operator whose guided rock climbing sessions take place at Damai Crag, Batu Caves, a limestone face with more than 50 routes from French 5c to 6c. Sessions meet at the crag at 8.30am, start with a safety briefing and run until about 11.30am, with a drop-off at the Batu Caves temple afterwards.

Guides set up top ropes and pick routes to suit each climber; experienced climbers can lead. Helmets, harnesses and climbing shoes are included, the guide-to-climber ratio is at most 1:4, and all guides hold at least SEACF Level 3 sport climbing certification. Add-ons include waterfall abseiling and trekking.

MIR also runs guided multi-pitch climbs, a guided climb of the Bukit Takun pinnacle, lead and self-rescue courses and SEACF certification courses. Bookings must be confirmed and paid in advance (no cash on arrival).
