T-UP's Zhonghe branch is built for roped climbing. The ground floor is a 15m-high hall with six auto-belay lanes, a speed wall, a top-rope area and a lead area (bring a 40m rope or rent one), plus a small bouldering zone and strength equipment. The second floor holds a separate children's bouldering space and the third a yoga studio.
Weekday adult entry is NT$500 for the full day (NT$550 at weekends). Beginners can book a coached top-rope experience (NT$1,500 solo, NT$1,199 each for 2–10 people), and the gym runs top-rope and lead belay courses, technique courses and kids' and youth programmes. It also hosts competitions, including the 2026 Rocket Cup lead event.
The go-to T-UP site for learning to belay and lead climb in greater Taipei.
Weekend afternoons are busiest. First visit? Allow time for the safety briefing.
