Greater Jakarta has six climbing gyms on Climb Go Where, including two in Alam Sutera, Tangerang. Indoclimb has gyms at FX Sudirman in Senayan and Kuningan City in South Jakarta, Boulder Planet Indonesia is in Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta, and Dreamstone Boulders has branches in Kelapa Gading and Alam Sutera. Peak to Peak Climbing in Alam Sutera, Serpong offers top rope as well as bouldering, as does Indoclimb FX Sudirman.

Single entry ranges from Rp110,000 at Peak to Peak, which includes equipment and an instructor, to Rp175,000 and Rp195,000 at Dreamstone, Rp215,000 at Indoclimb and Rp220,000 at Boulder Planet, which has had a first-visit rate of Rp110,000. Dreamstone charges extra for rentals.

All six gyms run intro classes and hire out gear, and Peak to Peak has kids' sessions. Mall-based gyms such as Indoclimb FX Sudirman and Kuningan City are easy to combine with other errands, and avoiding evening and weekend peaks means quieter walls and lighter traffic.
