Camp5 Paradigm opened in 2017 on Level 7 of Paradigm Mall in Johor Bahru. The 2,000 sqm, fully air-conditioned facility has walls up to 15m high, auto-belays and plenty of bouldering, set by Camp5's head setters.

Amenities include hot showers, lockers and a barista café with healthy meals. Rental shoes, harnesses, helmets, belay sets and ropes are available. Newcomers register online and can book a first-timer programme.

Day passes follow Camp5's national rate card, with off-peak prices before 4pm on weekdays. It is a popular weekend climbing trip for Singapore-based climbers as well as Johor locals.

Weekend afternoons are busiest. First visit? Allow time for the safety briefing.
