Climb Go Where

Philippines

The Philippines has seven climbing gyms on Climb Go Where, six in Metro Manila and one in Cebu. Bouldering options in Manila include The Bouldering Hive at Circuit Makati and Greenhills, Boulder World Philippines at the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay and Boulder Space in Quezon City. For rope climbing, Climb Central Manila in Mandaluyong has top rope, lead and auto-belays, and Power Up Alabang has top rope walls.

Day passes in Manila are typically PHP 700 to PHP 850. Power Up Alabang's PHP 800 all-day pass includes gear and belay training, and Boulder Space is PHP 700 if you bring your own shoes. In Cebu, Rock On Boulder Gym in Cebu IT Park, Lahug has a cave wall and a junior wall.

Most gyms run intro classes, and shoe hire is widely available. Manila traffic can be slow, so pick a gym near home or work for regular sessions. The wet season from around June to October also brings typhoons, which makes indoor gyms the reliable option for much of the year. If you want to climb on ropes at Climb Central or Power Up, expect a belay check or training session first.
