fit · bloc Telok Ayer is the city-centre outlet of fit · bloc, on level 6 of MND Building Annexe B on Maxwell Road. It mixes beginner-friendly bouldering with competition-style problems, and has auto-belay high walls, a Tension Board 2, showers and co-working space.
A single entry is S$28 and also gives same-day access to the Kent Ridge and Depot Heights outlets. First-timers can buy the S$55 Experience Bundle of three entries with shoe and harness rental and liquid chalk; shoes and harness can otherwise be rented at the counter.
Its location suits office workers fitting in a lunchtime or after-work session, and beginners who want to try roped climbing on auto-belays.
Weekend afternoons are busiest. First visit? Allow time for the safety briefing.
