REBEL Rock Climbing is a commercial indoor climbing gym on Srisoonthorn Road in Thalang, set beside a freshwater lake. It has over 700 square metres of wall: 30 rope anchors on a 12-metre wall with 80-plus sport routes, four auto-belays (15 routes, 5A–7A), and five boulder sectors with 40-plus problems including roof climbing. There's also a Kilter board, a campus and peg training zone, a pro shop, restaurant, cafe, showers, lockers and Wi-Fi.
First-timers usually take the 2 Hour Fun Pass (฿950), which includes all equipment and belay service when available. Experienced climbers can buy a full-day climbing access pass (฿590, no equipment or belay) or a bouldering-only pass (฿490). Top-rope courses (2 hours, from ฿1,800 per person) and lead courses (3 hours, ฿2,100–2,500) include the day's entry and must be booked in advance.
It's Phuket's main option for rainy days and for climbers training before trips to Krabi. Time Out also recommends it for children and teens.
Weekend afternoons are busiest. First visit? Allow time for the safety briefing.
