VietClimb is a bouldering gym on An Duong in Tay Ho, and the outfit behind much of the route development at Huu Lung. The gym sets more than 90 problems graded V0 to V10, with new problems every week.
Training kit includes a Kilter Board, a MoonBoard, a custom spray wall, Beastmaker hangboards and a campus board. There is a gear shop stocking climbing shoes and Petzl equipment, a café, lockers and showers.
A day pass is 180,000 VND and a 10-punch pass 1,600,000 VND. Group classes run on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings, with kids' classes on Tuesday afternoons and Saturday evenings and private coaching by booking. The gym also runs guided weekend trips to Huu Lung.
Weekend afternoons are busiest. First visit? Allow time for the safety briefing.
