n bouldering is a bouldering gym high up in a commercial building on Hennessy Road, about five minutes' walk from Wan Chai MTR (Exit A2). Its signature feature is the n°55 terrace, a 7m-long wall at a 55-degree angle with views over the island; problems are partly reset on a rolling basis, and the gym may close briefly for route setting (check its monthly calendar on Instagram).

An adult day pass is HK$280, HK$200 for full-time students aged 25 or under, and HK$180 for weekday off-peak visits checking out before 4pm. Shoes and chalk can be rented for HK$50 each. First-timers register online and can book the Bouldering Basic class; private coaching and memberships with guest passes are also offered.

A central, community-focused gym that suits office workers on Hong Kong Island and climbers who like steep terrain.

Weekend afternoons are busiest. First visit? Allow time for the safety briefing.
