The Player Climbingym is a large bouldering gym in Lai Chi Kok Bay Garden, close to Mei Foo MTR (Exit G). It has more than 10,000 sq ft of bouldering walls with problems across a wide grade range, a 4.5m top-rope climbing wall, a kids' climbing wall and a training area with boards.
A day pass is HK$288 for adults and HK$248 for full-time students aged 25 or under; share passes and monthly to annual memberships are available. First-time visitors should complete the online waiver before arriving. The gym runs beginner lessons, group and corporate activities and a Kids Climbing Academy for ages four and up.
Good for families in west Kowloon and for boulderers who want plenty of wall space; there is car parking at Lai Chi Kok Bay Garden.
Weekend afternoons are busiest. First visit? Allow time for the safety briefing.
